Sailing the spectacular west coast of Shikoku ( solo sailing )

In southwest Shikoku, near Cape Ashizuri, lies the wonderful town of Tosa Shimizu offering spectacular vistas, history, and charm as well as convenience for yachts who harbor there. With laundry, restaurants, shops, marine stores all within minutes if not seconds away it makes for a great stopover. Oh, and even the gas station 20 meters away will bring a truck to the dock to fuel up your diesel. Then there are the people . . . I can`t overstate how friendly and welcoming they were despite. And remarkable was my encounter with a newfound friend who seemed to know everything about my Coast Guard Encounter and he almost literally ripped off the shirt I was wearing and replaced it with a Coast Guard T-Shirt saying next time I am stopped to be wearing it!
