Sailing Saoirse - Covid19 update|week 4| fitting our water pumps & we start painting our heads(EP21)

We are excited about getting our first coat of paint onto our head walls! After looking at fiberglass walls for months we can’t wait to start seeing white walls! Karen does a great job while working with flow coat / pool paint considering the working time is very short. Sally takes it really easy during our fourth week of lockdown and Cleo goes for a walk with Karen and Robin to the marina wall, but does she make it back? We show you the results of using peel ply on our fiberglass shower floors (after showing you how we made our own shower floors in last weeks episode) Colben and Denver put up the reefing lines with much deliberation between the two of them and Robin, making a 20 minutes job an hour and a half job! Colben and Denver fit our JABSCO water pump on the port side of the yacht so we can finally start using the port side water tanks. It is difficult to work in such small spaces but I guess we have to make it work because our floors are already fitted. The pumps are then wired up, the tanks cleaned out with bleach and we have water coming through to our sink from the port side tanks!!! With our 5th and final week of stage 5 lockdown looming see what we get up to next week for mother’s day and watch us transform our forward cabin from bare hulls to a livable cabin!
