Katy and I began learning to sail while refitting Seawind over 6 years, but boat building was the first part of this entire experience that we mastered. We really didn't even know if we would enjoy living aboard and traveling the world via a sailing vessel until we finished all of the hard work and set off on our adventure. A first for all of us aboard our trusty Tartan 3500. We are perched in Neah Bay, at the edge of what seems like sailing into outer space, into the unknown.
