Sailing from Turkey to Croatia (Part3) Rhodes | Tilos | Astypalaia | S07E03

Leaving the anchorage around sunrise we head away from Turkey towards the island of Rhodes and Greece. Its not the passage we hoped for but we eventually arrive battered and windswept to calm seas. After checking in we visit the old town and have that all important pork gyros we have craved since our last visit to Greece 3 years ago! With winds forecast of over 30 knots we book into Mandraki Marina for three days before once again heading off this time towards Tilos. After a long passage we drop the anchor in Livadia just overnight then head up to the top of the island to a lovely anchorage at Plaka. It's then onwards to Astipalea, one of our favourite Greek islands!
