RYCV Portraits from the Pens - Episode 1: Peter Digby

Peter Digby was the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria's Cruising Yachtsman of the year in 2012-2013. He is the third generation of Digbys at the Club and his grandfather Ernie was an acclaimed boat builder - his classic 51ft racer Frances is still at the Club. In the 1950s Ernie also designed Port Phillip pilot boats, one of which, Thorsen, is today the race committee boat. Ernie was the RYCV Commodore in the mid 1950s - an honour repeated by Peter's father Len in the mid 1960s. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Portraits in the Pens is a video series showcasing the members of the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria.
