dancing, dance club, , boat life, romance, teak, cetol, dolphins We talk about boat life ups and downs. Replaced some teak toerail. Saw some great dolphins, birds, turtles, deer. Getting provisions on to the boat is not always straight forward. Moving stuff in a cart down a long dock, upstairs, jumping over to boat stepping down into the cockpit and going down below with bags of groceries takes coordination and time. Storage on the boat is similar to our home but has its own challenges. Another thing is A/C power. If we're running both air conditioners and trying to microwave or use the toaster oven we might blow a fuse. There are two 30A cords coming to the boat but with only a 50A available at the dock. We have to use a 50A Y adapter which limits amperage available. Often we will shut off an air conditioner to use some of our other galley appliances. Making repairs often requires quite a bit of customization as evidenced by the toerail replacement.
