Remote Control for Electric Dinghy? #sail #sailboatlife

In this Captain's Vlog I updated the Electric Dinghy Motor with a Pistol Grip remote control, and a new ESC (Electronic Speed Control) This is a DIY SailboatLife Hack and I'm making steady progress. In the previous episode dedicated to the electric outboard motor I successfully powered the trolling motor with 2 Ryobi Hand-tool batteries. In this episode I successfully pair a RC Pistol Remote Controller with my Newport 24v 86lbs thrust Trolling motor... and it worked! Kinda-sorta worked... and then it didn't. Blew out the new speed controller so I didn't get very far. Anyone got any good leads on a decent ESC for a brushed 24v motor?
