Real world IPS test aboard Marex 440 Gourmet

The Marex 440 Gourmet is a very interesting design. This is a boat that will likely appeal to serious experienced boaters and new boaters alike. She's packed with good ideas that will immediately make sense to anyone with experience on the water yet she's also very nice looking and extremely comfortable to spend time aboard. She's also designed to work in a global marketplace with the option of shaft drive - IPS drive and stern drive! It's not every day that you come across a vessel where you say to yourself 'geeze that's a good idea' - but on the Marex I was saying that all day. This design which is also available in a 'Scandinavia' version that cuts the galley down to a normal size and opens up internal lounge space is a boat that can work for so many people in all kinds of environments. If you were going to ask me to bet on a future success then this Marex 440 would be one of my top 3 bets in this category. Great build quality, excellent functional design, nice to look at and a size that's both easy to handle at the helm but perfect for entertaining the whoile family.
