Raja Ampat Snorkel Safari with Amira Liveaboards

Our route onboard Amira Liveaboard will concentrate on the more remote regions of southern Raja Ampat known as Misool. On offer here is a vast range of snorkeling sites from coral covered walls, reef flats, pinnacles and placid lagoons which all play host to a wealth of marine life. Fields of gorgonian fans can be seen in the shallows as they grow up the island walls, whilst colorful hard coral gardens rise to the surface - this really is some of the finest reef snorkeling you are likely to see anywhere in the world. Not only this - the reefs here are in superb condition. Expect fish life in abundance, from colorful reef dwelling species to larger pelagic species like schooling batfish and barracuda. Manta's are frequently seen feeding on the surface and hovering above their favorite cleaning station, and it's not uncommon to see whales passing by from the liveaboard at certain times of the year.
