For 14 months as it drifted lost and abandoned in the North Atlantic Ocean, the future of 'superyacht' Rainmaker looked settled - just another piece of marine debris posing a hazard to the environment and to shipping...Then its fortunes changed dramatically and a series of events brought it to us, in Cornwall. We were thrilled to have been involved in giving this amazing boat a new lease of life. Saving it and a small part of the ocean from the growing problem of boat end-of-life pollution. Meet the phoenix - Port Pendennis Marina Powercat 'Rainmaker'. Constructed here in Cornwall by Multimarine in collaboration with Nigel Irens, internationally-acclaimed marine designer and guru of super-efficient 'slippery hulls'.
