Our 30 Year Journey to the Exumas (And it was so worth it!) #sailing #catamaran

I'm not sure what to think about Episode 13 coming out on Halloween, October 31, 2023...Sure, it's a coincidence but cool, right? Episode 13 will also demarcate the end of our pre retirement episodes. In this episode, we leave Rock Sound and spend about a week in the north Exumas. We had to be back in Cupertino, the second week in April, to turn in our computers, say goodbye to friends and colleagues, and retire. Allan Cay's Iguana's did not disappoint but the tour boats from Nassau were wearing on us, we had to find something a bit less popular. At Long Cay, we had a few boats, some great snorkeling and much quiet. The water color was awesome, but as we found out later in our travels south, this was just a prelude to what we'd see. The last week of work was surreal. I had looked forward to this for so long. We've planned this for the better part of a decade and it was hard to believe it had finally come to fruition. It was a happy time. It was a sad time. I was excited.
