Omikron OT-60 in ROUGH SEAS: Real-World Handling & Close-Quarters Docking

The Omikron OT-60 takes a very different approach to the traditional motor yacht, combining the space and convenience of a powerboat with the quiet, easygoing character of a sailboat. Designed around efficient long-range cruising, she offers generous living spaces, excellent visibility, and a hull designed to make extended journeys as comfortable as possible. In this sea trial, filmed in Lavrio, Greece, we put the OT-60 into some genuinely challenging conditions. With around 25 knots of wind, gusting to 30, and a short, steep sea with waves consistently over one metre and larger sets reaching several metres, this was the perfect opportunity to see how she performs when the conditions get tough. This particular OT-60 is fitted with the optional twin 370hp Yanmar engines, giving her considerably more power than the standard engine options. We look at her ride quality, handling, comfort, stability, engine noise, and overall performance in the rough water before eventually opening the throttles to see what she can really do.
