After an excruciating hour and fifteen minutes following the starting gun, Peter Harburg’s Black Jack & the Oatley Family’s Hamilton Island Wild Oats inched their way out of the Heads before turning left to Queensland. It was a slow tussle between the two Reichel Pugh sisters who haven’t raced against each other since 2019. Thanks to Stu Don for great camera boat driving and drone catching.
