New Islands New Crew!

S04E02 We set sail from Langkawi to Pangkor — a 130 nautical mile passage that took us 28 hours. This was our new crew, Apurva and Swaroop’s, longest sailing passage yet! ⛵💪 We arrived at Pangkor Marina — a true haven for boaters, known for how quickly and efficiently boat work gets done here. While in Pangkor, we took a day off to explore the island and indulge in local flavours. We visited the Foo Ling Taoist temple, a Hindu temple (Kali Amman Temple), the historic Dutch Fort, and Pangkor’s very famous Coral Beach. A bit about Pangkor: Pangkor Island, off the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia, is a small tropical gem known for its fishing villages, rich cultural mix, and laid-back charm. Historically, it was a key stopover for traders — from the Dutch to Chinese and Indian settlers — leaving behind temples, forts, and a vibrant local heritage. Today, it’s a blend of quiet beaches, delicious seafood, and a slower pace of life. After a fulfilling day of exploring, we set sail again — heading further south towards our next adventure.
