After dreaming about becoming cruisers for three years, we finally sail from Key West to Cuba and arrive at Marina Hemingway! After sleeping for 12 hours, we spend our first full day exploring Havana Vieja and are fascinated by the bustling alleyways full to the brim with locals at work or kicking back with friends, kids getting off from school, tourists, scam artists and street performers. We pass the time exploring and taking in the vibrant colors of buildings and atriums of gorgeous colonial structures and the countless pristine antique cars that dot the streets. A couple hours before sunset Jordan insists on taking the ferry to a fortress next to the famous "El Morro” Castle.
