Making our CARBON FIBRE front beam

Two projects running side by side as we recut an old RC 44 spinnaker into a fractional kite for Paikea. While Anna is busy with that project, Shayne is in the grinding bay with a heap of carbon fibre mast pieces that he is going to use to create a new front beam and longeron for our catamaran. This is a project we have been talking about for ages. Our original set up did not allow for attaching a gennaker or storm sail/trinket so we decided to replace the existing front beam with sections of carbon fibre mast from an old America's Cup rig. The longeron is also a top section of AC mast. The pressure is on to get this project completed in record time as we need to haul the boat out for repairs on the hull.
