
LSG Group at Best Chef Awards 2021: Presenting the Space Food project at "Food meets Science" event
The LSG Group's Culinary Excellence team has presented its space food project at the "Food meets Science" event that was part of the 2021 Best Chef Awards in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Jörg Hofmann, Head of Center of Excellence Culinary, talked about the company's latest mission for the European Space Agency (ESA). Highly decorated pastry chef Mathieu Castex prepared "Rostiger Ritter" live on stage. The cinnamon-flavored pain perdu is one of four dishes of the so-called bonus food range that ESA astronaut Matthias Maurer will enjoy during his time on the International Space Station (ISS).
