Picked a bowl full of dewberries by the marina and I fully intent to make dewberry compote with it. But...I was busy fixing my windows, every time I opened the fridge I would pop a handful into my mouth & after a week, it is all gone. I don't feel like fighting the thorny dewberry brambles to get more. So, I cheated and get some black berry from the grocery store.. :(. That is my story & I am sticking with it.
