Building a cruising sailboat As the title suggests, this week, I build a stowage locker in under the nav table - continuing the internal-furniture-as-structure theme. The excitement continues as I purchase a new vacuum cleaner, have a good moan and then progress to fitting LED lights in the fore cabin!!! This is the story of the building of a Jay Benford designed, 31.8ft, junk schooner-rigged cruising sailboat, constructed of plywood and epoxy.
