Jump Starting an Engine on Our Leopard 45 and Floating Around Tampa Bay - E15

In this episode, we learned to jump start our Yanmar 4JH45 engine on our Leopard 45 catamaran. Adrienne got the luck of the draw on this one. We've never done this before, so it was a bit intimidating. But she put on her big girl pants and handled it like a champ. We got the engine running and ended up sailing to Terra Ceia Bay where we spent the night with our good friends, Rebecca and Alfredo. They rafted their boat to ours, and we floated around sipping Champaign. Not a shabby way to spend the day. We also earned our SCUBA certifications through Aquatic Obsessions in St. Petersburg. Our open water dives were at the Blue Grotto near Ocala. The Blue Grotto is a large sink hole that has been converted to a SCUBA training site. They have several platforms at varying depths to accommodate divers of all skill levels. We even got to meet Virgil the turtle. We also went sailing around Tampa Bay on two occasions with friends Rebecca and Alfredo and David and Dana. David is an amazing photographer. Check out his stuff at ENVY Photographics.
