Japan Declares New State of Emergency Over Covid-19 Surge? (????????????????????????2????????????)

Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga has declared a new state of emergency on Jan. 8 for Tokyo and 3 surrounding prefectures. It is the 2nd state of emergency in the country since the global pandemic broke out. Suga requested restaurants, Karaoke bars, gyms and other retail establishments to shorten their business hours.
