James Bond Comes to the Docklands We look at the James Bond Docklands Bloopers and fun facts when he visited our Docklands. In the movie "The World Is Not Enough," James Bond (played by Pierce Brosnan) visits the Docklands in London for a high-speed boat chase scene. Here are some bloopers and fun facts related to that scene: Blooper: In the scene where Bond's boat jumps over a police car, you can see a hydraulic ramp underneath the police car that was used to make it flip over. Blooper: During the boat chase, there's a shot where Bond's boat speeds past a sign that reads "Ministry of Defence". However, the sign is misspelled as "Ministry of Defnce". Fun fact: The boat used by Bond in the chase scene is called the Q Boat, named after the character Q who is known for providing Bond with his gadgets. Fun fact: The Docklands location used for the chase scene was the Royal Docks, which had been largely abandoned at the time and provided a perfect location for filming. We hope you enjoy the video.
