Introducing Harken's One Ton Opening Twing Block
Steve Orlebeke, Harken USA's Engineering Manager, introduces us to the new đđŽđŋđ¸đ˛đģ đĸđģđ˛ đ§đŧđģ đ§đđļđģđ´ đđšđŧđ°đ¸ - a design that came from experience. This twing block ensures trimmers can rig their sheets and blocks efficiently and safely. It's compact and lightweight while still being able to handle lines up to 12mm. Use it as a twing block or loop it on a padeye for a snatch block. Steve's favorite features? The ability to open and close the block one-handed means one hand for the rigging and one hand for the boat, and hearing that spring-loaded "click" when closing the block means you know it's properly closed, even in the heat of the moment. --- Video Content: âļ 00:00 Introducing Harken's One Ton Twing Block âļ 00:25 Why it was designed âļ 01:09 How it has safety in mind âļ 01:35 Other uses âļ 01:55 What it's made of âļ 02:17 Button design âļ 02:38 Other features
