Ingonish, Cape Breton, NS (Ep 26) (Oct 18, 2020)

My travelling adventure has brought me to Ingonish, another small fishing community in Cape Breton on Atlantic coast of the province of Nova Scotia. I met the extended family of Danny, a nice guy I used to work with back in Montreal... When In Ingonish one day I was helping Josh (Danny's wife's sister's husband) to clean up the area. He was cutting trees, I kept the fire going by burning cut-off-from-trunks brunches.... The same evening I was invited over to the dinner. It also happened to be Sandy's (Caitlyn and Josh's son) birthday ... We had a good time !!! ===================== ABOUT ME Back in 2019 I decided I did not want to be a 9 to 5  type guy anymore. I got fed up with this rat race like routine city life and I got hooked on the idea of sailing and living on a boat full time. But with 0 (zero) expirience that would be difficult to achieve... I took a Transport Canada course and received my first boat license... I watched tons of videos about boats and sailing on youtube and got myself registered with dozen of boat related forums and groups on a facebook... In May 2020 I came across a facebook post. Sergey was looking for a crew to bring his boat to the Caribbean. I travelled 1300 km from Montreal to Halifax to join him on his boat. The trip was cancelled two months later for legitimate reasons.  Since I made my way to Nova Scotia I decided to discover this beatiful province before going back to Montreal I have not given up on my dream of sailing. Because of this Corona virus situation in the world It is just put on hold...
