In-Mast Electric Furler Upgrade from #Leroysomer to #Cima1915 Motor and #Bonfiglioli Gearbox

Instead of just replacing the magnet I decided our 20 year old in-mast furler mechanism needed a complete upgrade. However, these aren't off the shelf items so with the help of a good friend in New Zealand, I sourced various parts and custom built a new unit which - in my opinion at least - was better than the original and far cheaper than a replacement from Amel.
