Hopetown SC, Abacos, Bahamas, run several races each winter for cruising boats and local racers alike. Star of the fleet of course is the famous Abaco Rage, a Class A Bahamian sloop. I was racing on Sunrise, a Capri 25. Skippered by Dave Pahl, and crewed by John and myself, somewhat nearer the front than we had expected. In fact we won both races comfortably!
