Half Laps and Mast Blocking - Episode 147 - Acorn to Arabella: Journey of a Wooden Boat

We are on the last steps of putting together the sill for the house top and the blocking for the mizzen mast. Alix needs to cut the half laps in the corners of the sill to get them to fit just right. Once that is done, we can paint them and screw them in place. Steve on the other hand, is installing some of the last deck framing as well as making the blocking for the mizzen mast. With these last things in place, we can then move on to doing a mock up of the house top and the cockpit. This will be really exciting as it will really show the space we have to work with inside of Arabella. Thank you for watching and supporting the channel.
