Free sailboat. A potential project and new home?

I have lived aboard my 25 foot sailboat for a year now. A journey from Lake Michigan to Kentucky Lake so far. I have written up blogs to document my journey. https://svnowherequick.wordpress.com/ I am considering getting a bigger hull to work on. I understand it could take me years to complete. But for a DYI project would it be worth it? Rhetorical question perhaps, I will ultimately be the one investing the time if I choose to obtain the vessel.
