Me and my boat Galopin have been wanting to sail with our friend Bruno for some time. And we got the perfect opportunity. A weekend jaunt across the Sao Vicente canal and on to the island of Santa Antao. I've done this passage on many occasions, but never with a professional skipper. And this proved to be an exceptional experience. He was familiar my boat without knowing anything about it. He easily convinced me to hoist the Spinnaker, which I rarely do in Cape Verde, which turned out to be "sailgasm". And I got to show him how we navigate these waters which I'm more familiar with and he is less. It was a wonderful experience sailing Galopin with a pro skipper.
