During the XXXVI Portuguese Junior and Absolute Sailing Championship, we had the honor of welcoming Portuguese Olympic windsurfer João Rodrigues, who made history by competing in seven consecutive Olympic Games: Barcelona 1992, Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, London 2012, and Rio de Janeiro 2016. A mechanical engineer and current Ambassador of the National Project for Ethics in Sport, João Rodrigues delivered an inspiring talk to young sailors, highlighting the importance of ethics and values in sports as an essential part of every athlete’s journey.
