ESCAPING to a DESERTED ISLAND (in St Barths) | 103 | Beau and Brandy Sailing It"s always a treat to find a deserted island right here in the Caribbean, to get away from the crowds and seek some solitude! As the charter boats were turning up the dance music, we were raising anchor to continue our journey West. But we want to make one last stop, Ile Fourchue, before getting to St. Martin. Even though there was a lot of roll, it was a quick easy sail from Colombier. We were anchored by lunch time and took the opportunity to whip up a fresh salad thanks to the well stocked grocery store in Gustavia. With full bellies we took to the water. Ile Fourchue is a protected reserve so we were hoping to see more life than what we've typically seen in the Caribbean. We weren't disappointed. Thanks for watching!!
