We are finally getting the answer to wether or not we are allowed to stay in the BVI for some extra days, or if we need to jump to plan B (or is it maybe C??). There is (as always??) a nasty weather system approaching so it's high time to find a sheltered spot to ride it out. And in the middle of this we find ourselves in a situation where things around us are breaking down (it was really a terrible set of 30 minutes). As they say, cruising life is just boat work in exotic places. And for these days, this couldn't be more true! Marcus pulls out his engineering skills to try to fix the windlass and that second jar of glue we just bought for the dinghy comes in handy sooner than we expected. But how to do outside electrical work and gluing things together when the weather gods decide to give you a 48 hour rain shower working against us?
