Our trip to Penang was totally worth the effort. What a melting pot of cultures and an absolute feast for the senses! Come and run away with us and wander the streets of Georgetown to find many historical world heritage buildings. We take a ride on the funicular railway up to Penang Hill; visit the largest Buddhist temple in Malaysia; and we explore the streets of Georgetown with its many Chinese temples, brightly coloured Hindu temples, chic cafes, restaurants, hawker stands and stores. Together with our friends we visit many fascinating sites and enjoy exceptional food along the way. It's safe to say that if you like architecture, history, food or art, then Georgetown is a must on your travel itinerary. As always, Excelsior! ?
