Ep 57 – Hodge Podge… / Sailing Free Spirit We have a little bit of one off stuff that we used to put together this video from our standard format. Andy creates access panels on the floor to get to the water, fuel and motors he may need to access for inspections. We found a cool bottle opener on the boat and reinstalled that in the galley while Nancy was making dinner one night. Finally, we both don our scuba gear and get to work to doing our 1st hull cleaning of the bottom of the boat and the rudder and keel. We were able to complete approx. 80% of the boat on this 1st try. The water temp in April was finally warming up to a blustery 68 degrees… Burr, it was cold.
