Come and run away with us on an unforgettable journey as we set sail for Kilifi, Kenya, where we are warmly welcomed by Kilifi Boat Yard. We take a trip to nearby Watamu when a fellow sailor, Bill, invites us and the SunChild Crew aboard to sail through the beautiful Mida Creek. We enjoy sundowners, and crocodile samosas, relaxing onboard. Next, we explore the ancient Swahili archaeological site of Gede Ruins, where we meet adorable Old World Skyes Monkeys, and upon our return to Kilifi we take a magical Sunset Dhow Cruise through Kilifi Creek. When Brendan faces a flare-up of an old knee injury, we make our way to Nairobi, stopping in Mombasa to visit the Nguuni Nature Sanctuary. We then board the Madaraka Express, where we travel through Tsavo National Park, spotting incredible wildlife along the way. While the girls visit the Sheldrick Trust Elephant Orphanage and the Nairobi National Museum, Brendan prepares for his knee surgery. Thankfully, the surgery goes smoothly, and just four hours later, he's walking out of the hospital! After Brendan's recovery, we return to Kilifi to witness an incredible performance by Maasai dancers at Mnarani Beach Club. The boys enjoy a round of golf at the exclusive Vipingo Ridge, while we explore the laid-back vibes of Salty's Kitesurfing Village at Bofa Beach and savor delicious bites at The Food Movement at The Plantation. Kenya left us with unforgettable memories, and it was hard to say goodbye. Come along for the ride and see the magic of Kenya through our eyes! Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more adventures! Onwards and Upwards. A special thank you to all the incredible people we met in Kenya. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.
