E19 Sailing in THICK FOG to SURFER PARADISE Nazaré

We set off down the Portuguese Coast in the thickest fog we've ever seen. At the worst points we could probably only see 20 metres ahead in any direction. But we made it safely to Nazaré, the surfing paradise and home of the infamous monster waves. We end up spending a week in Nazaré biding our time and waiting for some good wind and sea state to take us further South. It was a beautiful town to explore, although a lot of the time we were there it was just very foggy, which is apparently normal for that time of year.
