Leaving Coffs Harbour we cross the bar to Yamba stopping for the night, before making an overnight sail across the border into Queensland and through the Southport Seaway. Weaving our way through the Gold Coast Waterways we arrive back in Manly completing our circumnavigation which took 26 months and 11,273 nautical miles travelled. We're Chris and Jo and we have been living on our Seawind 1260 since January 2019. In our first year we bring our yacht down the east coast of Australia and sail it out to New Caledonia. After cruising further north up the east coast of Australia in 2020, we decide to circumnavigate Australia during 2021 and 2022. We had previously owned fishing and water skiing boats, but after a couple years crewing in South Australia we decided to jump right in and make a sea change.
