Delivered in 1985, she comes from a period considered the best one in terms of naval architecture and spatial ideation. Having undergone a 2-year refit completed in 2021, her major new features are her extra 2,4m/6'6" in length and eco-friendly engines (through thermal combustion via an Azipod thruster powered by one of the two generators) for a safe and comfortable charter experience. The 2021 refit also added a more modern open-plan exterior layout, including the addition of a spacious sunbed area at the bow. Her new length of 45m/148' boasts now more living spaces than a 55-meter yacht, plus all the luxury facilities any demanding guests would expect. On the interior side, retro-inspired, natural fiber fabrics, and white marble surfaces are tempered with cognac-colored leather and briarwood accents. It creates a feeling of familiarity and calmness, with a state-of-the-art air conditioning system. With wide salons, and fine AV/IT onboard technologies, CURIOSITY welcomes a total of 12 guests that can be accommodated in an arrangement of 6 staterooms with marble en-suite bathrooms.
