Building a Wooden Sailboat #12: Chain Plates, Bulkheads, & Interior Paint
In part twelve of this series, I install the chain plates, show how to use "tick sticks" for flagging off and making the fore and aft bulkheads, and clean up the interior of the boat. I radius all the edges in the cockpit and bevel the chine log to shed water. I also sand to a 220 grit finish in prep to paint. Finally I spray on two coats of primer and start rolling on a third coat.
