Building a remote control blimp!

Riley was looking for a Covid project while locked at home. A remote control blimp was the challenge! Using an old remote control car for parts, a fan motor, designing and 3D printing propellor blades, balsa wood, glue and more helium balloons than expected and RC flying blimp was built. Many modifications were required as well as buoyancy calculations...... did you know a helium balloon can only lift 14g at its very best? Some really clever thinking with regard to be able to steer the blimp - Riley used the concept of a boats bow thruster to steer it - smart.
