As we leave Bait Reef and head to Hook Reef, located near the Great Barrier Reef Pontoon, we juggle whales and crazy currents. The narrow channels between multiple reefs in the Whitsundays are often called horizontal waterfalls & they can increase/decrease your speeds by 3-5knots. There are bommies everywhere, but we manage to find an amazing location to anchor and spend a few nights enjoying Hook reef.
