With a borrowed bike and riding gear that I bought off of Craigslist, I head out on my first ride on a dirt bike in over 30 years. In the following 3 months, I would build a bike worthy of racing the Baja, get some buddies together and start a BAJA race team. My first ever desert race would be on the World's biggest off-road stage. (The SCORE-International World Desert Race Series). This video is what led to the birth of Mettler Racing's journey of more than 5,000 race miles which includes multiple broken bones, stitches, scars, surgeries, priceless memories and a whole lotta laughter along the way.
