We caught up with Antoine Magre before the start of the race to talk about the design of the boat. "The whole thought behind the scow bow...instead of cutting through the water with the pointy bow, we wanted to bring enough volume so that you can go over the waves, and maintain higher average speed rather than a few top speeds on the surf.
