Sailors and Their Boats - a captivating and fun series that takes you on a journey through the lives of sailors and their beloved boats. "Anchored" as a metaphor represents stability, security, and a firm foundation. It signifies being grounded, rooted, or tethered to something reliable or trustworthy. Join us as we delve into the fascinating world of seafaring enthusiasts, explore their sailing experiences, and unravel the unique stories behind their vessels. Whether you're an avid sailor, an adventure seeker, or simply curious about the maritime lifestyle, this series will immerse you in the captivating world of sailors and their boats. Our goal: To Discover what aspects of a particular boat captivated the owner's affection. Was it the hull shape, the sheer line, the transom, the interior? Who knows? But we aim to find out. In this episode we deviate SLIGHTLY when we stumble upon a very unique Dutch Trintella I - a 1964 28-foot sloop that is a diamond in the rough. She is a gorgeous boat in need of a little TLC. The owners are moving to Tennessee and need to sell this boat - and two beautiful and fast powerboats. Come along and check them out. 1964 Trintella I (27.89') 1962 Chris Craft Continental (19') 1972 Century Resorter (16') If you are interested in any of these boats, please contact Scott Barnes at (770) 331-6597. The boats are located in Lincolnville, ME.
