She’s been modified for three simple reasons – to rate well, to win, and to be an exhilarating boat to race. Her QLD owner’s goal was spec to boat to IRC standards and to be able to compete with the best of the best race boats in the country. Modifications included extensive fairing of the hull, keel and rudder. The mast is carbon as is the boom and poles, plus the new transom hung rudder. There are 4 Harken race winches, new instruments and a lithium battery with charger. More recently her well known owner out of Sydney’s Middle Harbour had the hull professionally sprayed, added new instruments, and further tuned the rig. Standing rigging was replaced new in 2021. The Mercury 6Hp outboard was new in just August 2025.
