40 hours of HELL on water sailing to Airlie Beach! Why do we do this again? EP 31

The weatherman screws us! 10 knot winds? Nope.... Easterlies? Nope...... What should have taken around 4-5 hours in lumpy seas took 8 hours directly into the wind launching over waves hitting the bow front on so we pull in for a restless night sleep in an anchorage not recommended in winds over 20 knots and continue on in a similar sea state the next day... into the next night for what ends up being our least enjoyable trip on the water to date.
