[14] Southport 24 hour race 2017

The Southport 24 hour race is an endurance race / relay race which takes place over a weekend every September in Southport, England. The race has been going for over 50 years and is organised by West Lancs Yacht Club. We were helping out by organising a boat for Liverpool Yacht Club and our boat (Molly G) was used as an introduction to dinghy events for those members who had never participated in such an event before. There was another boat (Dicko) for the more serious racers and it placed about halfway in the final results.
