For our 25th wedding anniversary we took a ferry from Tortola, BVI to St John, USVI for the weekend. We enjoyed some of the restaurants in Cruz Bay and the view from the hotel was fabulous! We had so much fun and can't wait to go back!

Source: https://www.podbean.com/eau/pb-3rzi7-19227d3 Well it took longer than I thought but I’m sailing into Nantucket sound as I record this. Just a quick update for tonight and soon the offshore recordings will be out. Thanks for listening.
Step onboard the Fairline Squadron 50. Innovative design that creates more room perfectly illustrates the Fairline Squadron. Take in the view from the spacious flybridge with just the horizon and your family for company. Gather round the teak table for breakfast, then swiftly convert it to a sunbed to catch the morning sun. Yes, more space for sharing and enjoying. That is the beauty of this yacht. And the beauty of ingenious design. https://www.bateswharf.co.uk/news/fairline-stock-clearance/

Ep 66 – Repowering the boat to 50 amps Sailing Free Spirit While Nancy is at work, Andy is playing and getting some much needed work completed. Since have installed the final appliances and have since discovered that we are drawing too much power from our current 30 amp service and constantly throwing the brakers. We are increasing to 50 amps now and have to re-do the wiring on the boat to allow for the higher amperage. Plus, we upgrade the galvanic isolator to 60 amps to keep up with the growth of the boat. All financial contributions (or items purchased on Amazon) are tax deductible for your US income tax returns for full face and/or retail value. In this video we explore the ups and downs of Bermuda in the winter months. Would we spend the winter in Bermuda again? We would definitely spend a winter in Bermuda again, but there are some things we would do differently. Bermuda is an expensive location, so the more you can stock up on everything from food, to spares, and even supplies for boat projects, before you leave for Bermuda, the better off you will be. Water must be purchased in Bermuda, so a means to collect rain water, or a water maker would be a real cost saver. The frequent gales in Bermuda, means that you need to have good ground tackle that’s easy to deploy, or rent a mooring in a protective cove. In this video we also show you more of Bermuda, the royal dock yard, the Spirit of Bermuda. We also visit the Windy Bank Farm market on Saturday morning.
