Wir besuchen darüber hinaus auch Floreana, die vierte bewohnte Insel von Galapagos. Unmittelbar nach Ankunft in San Cristobal springe ich nochmals ins Wasser, um das absolut reine Unterwasserschiff insbesondere den Wasserpass von den Rückständen der einwöchigen Überfahrt zu reinigen. „The hull has to be absolutely clean“ werden wir immer wieder ermahnt. Punkt 4:00 kommt der Taucher und dokumentiert mit seiner GoPro den Zustand unseres Unterwasserschiffes „Super clean“ wird denn auch attestiert und die eigentliche Einklarierungsprozedur kann beginnen. 8 Offizielle von Immigration, Quarantäne, Armada, Polizei und keine Ahnung welcher Behörde fluten MariaNoa.
