Care must be taken crossing the Wide Bay Bar at the southern end of Fraser Island. There are directional lights on both Fraser Island and Inskip Point which guide craft across the bar. We anchored for a week, taking daily dinghy rides in, to hike Monument Beach. We did a trash clean up and beach walk one day, hiked the face of the cliff side another and soaked in all the sun!! One of the best more relaxing days we've had sailing in the Bahamas!
